You can find the date when we will mail the 2008 Middle Class STAR rebates and notifications to your area. Mailings for the 2008 Middle Class STAR Rebate Program will begin the week of September 29, 2008. We will be mailing to eligible property owners alphabetically by county followed by the boroughs of New York City. We plan to complete our mailings by the end of October.
Most property owners will not have to apply for this year’s rebate and will receive their checks automatically. Do not apply unless you received a notification letter.
If you received a notification letter, you must apply by December 31, 2008 to receive the 2008 rebate. After receiving the letter, you can apply online using the STAR Code provided to you for your property. Apply online for your 2008 STAR Rebate.
After the first week in November, if you believe you are eligible and did not receive a check, notification letter, or other correspondence from us, please check back for further instructions.
