Both internal and external quantifiable performance indicators are being used to keep us on target to fulfill our goals as we phase in our new initiatives over the next three years. 	Taxpayer satisfaction with the ease of resolving problems
	Practitioner satisfaction with the ability to get timely and accurate information from the Department
	Employee satisfaction with meeting the needs of taxpayers and practitioners
	Practitioner satisfaction with the ease of resolving client’s problems

Increases in
	Taxpayer perception of fair treatment
	Taxpayers accessing the Department via the Internet
	Audited taxpayers who subsequently submit accurate tax returns in a timely manner
	Electronically filed returns
	Level of compliance with tax laws

Decreases in
	Errors on returns
	Time to resolve protests
	Time to issue refunds
	Number of protests
